The Flat Pricing section of the Settings tab of the Store Editor is a pretty simple interface. It has two parts:
Min Qty is the minimum amount in units that a person must order of that item for the order to be accepted. Meaning, if you have you don't want to sell one-offs of flat priced apparel, you can make sure people don't do that here.
Min Price is the minimum amount in dollars that an order for that item must total to be accepted. If you don't want a standard minimum for all flat priced items but you want to make sure people do spend a certain dollar amount for each item, you can set that in this field.

The first part of the name to the left of the period is known as the root name. The root name cannot be exactly like a device name. The second part to the right of the period is the extension. It is optional and is often, however, not necessarily, 3 characters long. Under MS-DOS the rootname could only be 8 characters lengthy and the extension no more than three so 3 characters (or less) is usually still the particular default although under Home windows 95 and above that will limit has become gone. Several still use three characters for files that must be backward compatible to get still-running DOS-based systems.
