Creating Custom Categories

You are free to add your own custom categories to your Creative Merchandise stores. You will need to make them first (and associate custom products to the categories, but we will get to that later.) Here is how you create custom categories. 

How to create custom categories:

1. Click on Categories in the menu to the right of the admin.
2. At the top of the category menu page click the bold link that reads “Add Category”.
3. Now you are on the category form page. Fill out the form, making sure that your category is set to “Top Level”.
4. Click the Save icon (floppy disk icon) at the bottom of the form.
5. If you would like to add a sub-category, repeat Steps 2-4, except instead of “Top Level” choose the parent category.
